Hi all,
I had originally planned to have our September meeting on Saturday, September 12 but heard from many of you that you were unable to attend that day.  I have requested (from Nancy) that we have our meeting in Charlottesville on either the 19th or 26th of September.  I would like your input on these dates.
The rest of the meeting schedule is listed below.  Please let me know if these days are acceptable. We will also be using the conference call capability as we have done in the past.

Karen - either of those dates are fine the Beams conf. room is available on both of those dates - I, like Janet would prefer the 26th - since I will be at the hospital that day working the PSA screen - it is scheduled to end at 10:30 that morning - but can make the 19th as well.

Hello Fellow BOD members,

 

I am looking forward to a new year with the VSCLS BOD.  

Our next Board of Directors meeting will be on Saturday, September 26,
2009.  It will be in the Beams Conference Room at Martha Jefferson
Hospital in Charlottesville.  The meeting will begin at 10:00 AM. 

 

We will open the teleconference line at 10:30 AM for those that would
like to participate via telephone. The number is 540-245-7050. When you
join the conference, please say your name so everyone knows you have
joined the meeting (the telephone bridge does not have an entry/exit
tone).

I am calling for agenda items that you would like to discuss at this
meeting. Please send any agenda items to be included to by Thursday

DIRECTIONS TO MARTHA JEFFERSON HOSPITAL

 

FROM INTERSTATE 64 EAST OR WEST:

 

Take the Shadwell Exit (#124) and turn West onto Route 250 (Left turn
from the West, Right turn from the East).  Exit on Locust Avenue and
turn left at the top of the exit ramp.  The Hospital is one-half mile on
the right.

 

FROM ROUTE 29 SOUTH:

 

Travel North on Route 29, which become Route 250/29 Bypass.  Exit on
Locust Avenue and turn right at the top of the ramp.  The Hospital is
one-half mile on the right.

 

 

FROM ROUTE 29 NORTH:

 

Travel South on Route 29 and exit onto the 250 Bypass. Exit on Locust
Avenue and turn right at the top of the ramp.  The Hospital is one-half

The BOD meeting this Saturday is in the Beams conf room (same room we've
been using the last several years) - on this Saturday you will need to
enter thru the main hospital entrance - this is the 2nd entrance in the
traffic circle.  This weekend is the hospital's PSA screen from 8-10:30
and the Cardwell entrance will be closed - the PSA traffic should be
quieting down at the BOD arrival time - just proceed to the Cardwell
elevators an on to the 3rd floor Beams Conf room.  The director of this
PSA screen knows you will be coming in and she is the official elevator
operator for the screen so she will get you to the 3rd floor.  Also I
will let the front desk know about the meeting as well.  Coffee and
snacks will be in the room and I will join the meeting shortly after the
screen ends @ 10:30.

Subject: [Bod] BOD mtg - main hosp entrance

The BOD meeting this Saturday is in the Beams conf room (same room we've been using the last several years) - on this Saturday you will need to enter thru the main hospital entrance - this is the 2nd entrance in the traffic circle.  This weekend is the hospital's PSA screen from 8-10:30 and the Cardwell entrance will be closed - the PSA traffic should be quieting down at the BOD arrival time - just proceed to the Cardwell elevators an on to the 3rd floor Beams Conf room.  The director of this PSA screen knows you will be coming in and she is the official elevator operator for the screen so she will get you to the 3rd floor.  Also I will let the front desk know about the meeting as well.  Coffee and snacks will be in the room and I will join the meeting shortly after the screen ends @ 10:30.
