Hi ARG SIG Members!

Voting is now underway. Anyone who was a part of this mailing list and 
registered as a paid IGDA member is eligible to vote (that's 25 of 
you!). If you were eligible to vote you should receive an email that 
includes the text below.

If you do not receive an email today and you think you should be 
eligible to vote please contact me off list so we can see what's going on.

Elections are currently underway!

This is the very first election for our SIG, which is quite exciting to 
those of us who've been here since it was founded.

Voting opened on May 3rd and runs until May 14th.

We've improved the process a bit over the last week, and if you are 
reading this e-mail blast, you're eligible to vote. ARG SIG mailing list 
members with IGDA standard memberships have been added to the "ARG SIG 
Elections" group, so it's pretty painless.

Please log into the IGDA.org website and follow the links to review the 
candidate statements and vote.

A few notes about voting:

* Voting is open May 3rd to May 14th, 2010.
* There is one position up for election, the ARG SIG Chair.
* You may vote 1 (one) time for one chair candidate.
* A Standard IGDA Membership is required to vote. Student and Free User 
Account members must have already upgraded to a Standard Membership to vote.
