Hi everyone,

For the third year, as the culmination of my Interactive Storytelling course, two teams run "micro-ARGs." These ARGs run for only five days, and each team is also playing the other team's ARG.

They're already up and running, so if you don't want to commit to a months-long ARG, but feel like a weekend's worth of ARGing would be just the thing, come on over and check them out. Both of them must be finished by Monday, April 28 at 7pm, so the mysteries will be solved, the world will be saved, and everything will be revealed by then.

The first one seems to center around WPI's Mystery Club, which has been having a nasty run-in with some hackers:

And the second one seems to be centered around an oceanographic research group in Canada:

There are some on-campus events, but one of the requirements of the assignment is that the ARGs be playable to anyone, anywhere, so anyone out there in the world who wants to participate should be able to (and if you feel left out, please let me know, as that would be valuable feedback).

We will have post-mortems next week.

Dean
