[arg_discuss] What's the G stand for?

Sorry, I seem to be coming into this debate a little late, however  
something seems to jump out and stare me in the face. It seems a bit  
silly trying to find a definition of a 'game' that fits with the kind  
of game in an ARG. What strikes me is that some of the definitions  
mentioned, don't relate to games at all, which begs the question:

Are the pieces being modified to fit the hole?

Perhaps the term 'ARG' is flawed?

That's my opinion anyway, please don't hurt me ^_^
