| FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
|
- What is a serial?
- A serial is a piece of fiction broken up into bite-size chunks. Think Indiana Jones meets the shtetl.
- What is Chelm?
- Chelm is a village of wise fools in Eastern Europe.
- Do you have to be Jewish to enjoy "The Council of Wise Women?"
- Do you have to be Southern to enjoy Faulkner or English to enjoy Shakespeare?
- I don't want to get an email every week. Can't I read the whole thing?
- No. It's not written yet. Part of the fun of a serial is watching it unfold. HOWEVER we are offering a monthly subscription. Instead of sending out an installment every week, we'll send you one every month.
In the meantime, you can buy some of Mark Binder's other books and audio recordings by clicking here.
- Can I read the beginning of the serial?
- Not yet. Think of this as a television serial that isn't in reruns or on dvd yet.
- When are these episodes released?
- Usually on a Thursday or Friday morning.
- How do I subscribe?
- Funny you should ask... Fill out the form above already!

"I want you to know how much I appreciate and enjoy receiving the Chelm stories from you. Yiddish folktales were an important part of my youth, and it's wonderful that they've sprung back to life through you."

"The Council of Wise Women has been a delight, from Episode 1 on, but I especially like the way the story now has particular relevance to the hard times that have befallen us. Thank you for writing it--it's always a pleasure to read."
